Vinay Pathak is back as singer and actor in Bheja Fry 2 ( release date 17th June). He will be lending his voice for the sequel to Bheja Fry. The actor who made a mark with the original Bheja Fry, broke down while shooting for the song O Rahi Rahi. Bhushan (played by Vinay Pathak), the kind-hearted, naive roly-poly tax inspector is back to fulfill his long cherished dream of becoming (guess what) a singer! To further his ambition he enters a game show, hoping to win a cash prize with which he can make his very own music album. Eventually, after quite a bit of struggle, Bhushan goes on to win the competition which also gifts him a free stay on a cruise ship.
On the cruise he meets Ajit Talwar (played by Kay Kay Menon), an acrid tongued businessman who is taking cover on the cruise ship in order to hide from the income tax department. Chasing him is tax inspector M T Shekharan (played by Suresh Menon), who is trying to unearth the identity of a con artist who has been eluding the authorities for a long time.
