Desi Boyz is a Hindi action comedy film directed by debutant Rohit Dhawan, son of director David Dhawan. The film stars Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone and Chitrangda Singh in lead roles.
Desi Boyz is the story of two men who are forced to do something extremely bizarre which gives them instant gratification but the repercussions tear them apart and its aftermath which tests everything
including their friendship. Jerry Patel (Akshay Kumar) and Nick Mathur (John Abraham) originally came to the UK to study as overseas students at Oxford University.
Some years later, life is good in their comfortable London pad. Nick’s got a lucrative investment banking job and a beautiful fiancee, Radhika (Deepika Padukone). Jerry happily sponges off his wealthy pal while
bringing up his nephew Veer (Omi Vaidya). But in 2009 the recession starts to bite…..
Nick and Jerry stop smiling the day Nick’s company decides to downsize and unceremoniously fires him. And Jerry is informed by the Social Services that his nephew Veer, who’s local guardian Jerry is will be placed in a foster home unless he gets a steady job.
