Microsoft launched Windows Phone 7.5 Mango in India

You may have already been able to get a Windows Phone device in India without too much trouble, but Microsoft has only just now made things fully official — complete with Windows Phone Marketplace, voice recognition support, and a trio of Mango devices.

Getting back to the announcement, Microsoft introduced the latest version of the Windows Phone mobile operating system, Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, which comes with a richer and more dynamic user interface, including features like Live Tiles for glance-and-go information, and Hubs, for workspace management and easy access to contacts, media, games, documents, and the Marketplace, which has over 30,000 apps. Much more relevantly, Microsoft revealed the lineup of Windows Phone devices expected in India in the near future, starting with the HTC Radar. The Samsung Omnia W will follow, along with a device from Acer (possibly the Acer W4 a.k.a. Acer Allegro). Subsequently, we can expect a device from Nokia, the Nokia 800, also bearing similar specifications
